‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Reboot in Works With The Original Cast and We Love It

Beverly Hills 90210, though it definitely appealed to a particular generation, is a show that has lived on for decades. And now, the famous teen soap is going to be revived!

Apparently, the original actors will be making appearances on it. Cast members Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering, and Gabrielle Carteris are reportedly all on board.

The show will be picked up by the show runners of the previous remake, which we all know as the CW’s 90210. It started a few of the original cast members like Doherty, Garth, and Spelling.

That version was decent, but there’s nothing quite like having the old gang reunited again. They all look fabulous for their age, and can’t wait to see that chemistry light up again!

The original show was a cultural touchstone, so what does that mean for this day and age? A reboot in a world where Trump is president and climate change has well advanced will be an interesting one.

With so many melodramas like Riverdale out, we’re yearning for a more nostalgic type of teen drama that resonated with us before smartphones were the most interesting thing in our lives.

We’re also so proud to see Shannon Doherty get back on the silver screen after her tough battle with cancer, and she is looking as radiant as ever!

Then again, the report has quoted unnamed sources, so we’re not sure exactly what network this show will be going home to, or if all of the cast members will actually be present.

According to more of these mysterious sources, the new venture will apparently not be a “traditional reboot”, whatever that means.

For some reason, even as these high school dramas keep coming out well past our teen years, we keep staying hooked, hiding them on Netflix as our ultimate guilty pleasure.

Are you ecstatic to see this gang reunite on TV, or do you wish they would freeze time in its perfect, 90s essence that the show originally captured so successfully?
